So there is this mission style burrito place I looooooove, but is a pretty decent drive, so we don’t go often.
And this girl in class told me about the place she works, which is the same kind of place. I’ve heard about it, and heard it was iffy. She talks it up though, and told me it was a healthier version of the place I love.
Any way, I went the other day, and it was amazing! Every thing was whole wheat. The rice was brown rice, too. And everything was just … Healthier, haha.
Anyway, I’m pretty excited about it. They’re still huge portions but we only go out every now and then anyway, haha.
Love me some burritos.
I want to learn to love it, because right now … I can’t stand it.
It just absolutely KILLS me. It bothers my ankles and my knees. And I’m just terribly out of shape when it comes to running. Give me an elliptical and I can go for hours. Send me out for a run and I’ll be on the ground heaving in under a minute.
BUT, my sister has been working out, and started running semi-recently … and she was able to get passed the terrible beginning phase of running — so I can too!
Plus, I have a lot of time on my hands because … well, long story that no one cares to read anyway, haha. So, might as well get to running!
Nope, not really. I’ve had those shoes for years and they still don’t smell too terrible. I never wear them without socks, I’m sure that helps, haha. And thanks!
Gotta love nice weather! Get to get a work out while enjoying myself … AND my boyfriend will be with me! :)
